Count the WAVs labelled v4, v5, v6, v7. Then count the WAVs labelled FINAL.
Draft 4 is where every unmapped track dies. Not draft 1. Not draft 2. Draft 4.
This is because the first three drafts run on enthusiasm. By draft 4 you are awake. The track is not done. Something is missing in the back half. You do not know what.
What is missing is a function.
A finished psy track is five functions stacked into 96 bars. Setup runs to bar 16. Lean in runs to bar 32. Peak runs to bar 48. Release runs to bar 64. Handoff closes it out. Every working track in the genre follows

Drafts past v4 are almost always Release problems or Handoff problems. The first half is fine. The back half has no job. So you keep bouncing.
